A member asked:

Can a lipoma come back once it has been removed? i had one removed from my leg about 20 years ago. it very sensitive to touch.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lipoma.: Lipomas tend to self-encapsulate as they grow, so removal is relatively easy and usually complete. You may get a new lipoma in proximity to the location of the removed one, but a specific lipoma should not recur.
