Lipomas: It sounds like you're describing lipomas. Lipomas are benign, usually asymptomatic, flesh colored nodules that are made up of fat. They can be surgically removed, but do carry a chance of recurrence.

Could be: Lipomas are certainly common, painless and squishy lumps. They do not become cancer so require no treatment. Other options are sebaceous cysts. If they seem to grow or spread or become painful you should have them evaluated.
