Can you still menstrate even after your womb has been removed?

No: Menstrual bleeding comes from monthly shedding of the lining of the uterus. If there is no uterus, there is no place to produce menstrual bleeding. Any bleeding that is seen can be evaluated by the ob-gyn doctor.

No: It is the lining of the womb that sheds that causes a period or menstruation. Once removed, there is nothing to she'd or menstruate any longer. A procedure such as a vaginal hysterectomy will leave your ovaries so you don't go through menopause but you no longer menstruate.
