The basics: This is an uncommon birth defect that can range from having a downward bowing of the top of the uterus to a thin wall going through separating 2 sides. Whether or not it had anything to do with your loss or future fertility would be best determined by further study. A skilled surgeon may remove the wall, or it may not be worth the effort. Many women with this label have several healthy babies.
