A member asked:

3 months post-septoplasty there are still difficulties breathing. should we consult a plastic surgeon or an ent doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ENT doctor: First, you should consult the doctor who performed your surgery. Many times at this early stage, simply intranasal steroids are helpful. If you are not satisfied with their answer, it may be prudent to seek the advice of an ent, as they are more appropriately trained in complex breathing issues regarding the nose.
