Dr suspects subclavian steal syndrome. cardiologist took bp in both arms=okay. have all symptoms & oximeter says no pulse when arms over head. next?

Vascular US: The diagnosis of subclavian steal usually made by Doppler ultrasound of the arteries & veins with the arm in various positions. If there is truly no pulse when arms are over your head, the Doppler signal in that position should read 0 (or minute flow incompatible with health). After that, arteriography with possible stenting or embo to diagnose & treat. Talk to Vascular Surgeon or HealthTap Prime.
