A member asked:

What are symptoms of subclavian steal syndrome? my pulse on right wrist is a little stronger then the left wrist. no other symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

When the subclavian artery has a significant blockage it takes away some of the arterial blood flow going upward to the brain leading to lightheadedness or fainting. Check your blood pressure in both arms. If the weaker BP is more than 10 points lower, it suggests a blockage in the artery in that arm. This would not be a subclavian steal though.
