A member asked:

If cardiologist is right & i do have cardiac syndrome x, why is my biggest complaint shoulder tip pain, arm pain, jaw pain on and off throughout 24/7.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Referred pain: Cardiac syndrome X is a condition where patients have the pain of angina, but they do not have CAD. So even though patients with cardiac syndrome X have symptoms of CAD, the coronary arteries are clear of blockages. The pain you feel most likely is referred pain like in angina. If the pain is on the right side, the pain could be referred from the cervical region, slipped disc.
