Hope so.: That is the hoped for result. If there is a perfusion defect on the MRI, that will be interpreted as a possible ischemic area of the heart with reduced blood flow usually from atherosclerosis placques and thrombi. A negative study may be reassuring or mean additional tests be need to be done.
