is a pulse oximeter still accurate when you're lying down, arms flat by side? doctor said less blood flow might affect it..!

Yes: Hi Matthew, a pulse-oximeter is still accurate when lying down. A few things that can affect the reading are the temperature of the patient's hands as well as if there is any nail polish obscuring the sensing device.
