Hi when we are having tooth scaling in anything being injected into you from tooth scaler ? is the water coming out of scaler going into the blood stream when the scaler penetrates your gums ? . it is not like an injection ?

Scaler tip water: Ultrasonic scaler tips have water flow mostly to cool the tip as the energy from ultrasonic action produces heat. Another benefit i from the water flow is to wash away debris and blood for better visibility. Nothing is injected into you or your bloodstream.

No injection.: Scaling is like scratching off debris. To prevent your swallowing this, the water merely rinses the tooth so it can be suctioned away. If you brush consistently, you should have healthy gums, and scaling should be painless and not cause bleeding.

Unlikely : The scaler uses water to help remove the deposits from the teeth. The water is also designed to keep the area cool. Properly used it's unlikely to damage the gum tissue or inject water into the tissue.

See below: You are referring to a cavitron that removes calculus, the procedure is safe and is an adjunct to traditional scaling and root planing. Normally the water is distilled from the unit and is not considered an injection. Discuss any concerns with your dentist.
