Pain under rib: Not usually. How do you know you have polyps? If you have had a radiological test done, then I would return to the physician who ordered it. You should see your primary care physician for an evaluation. If the pain gets worse or unbearable, or other symptoms occur such as difficulty breathing or fever then you should go to the Emergency Department.
