I think this is: something you are going to have to ask your urologist about. I almost think the "film" could be some degradation of the endoscope image rather than any real anatomic or pathologic variation in the upper pole of your kidney. But the only way, I believe, to clarify this is to contact the consultant and ask for clarification. Good wishes:)
