A technician was wearing a bandana mask but when he was outdoors, he took it out and talked to me. i was wearing a cloth face covering.he was 6 ft from me. i let him talk for a few seconds ( may be 5-6 secs& left him). can i get covid19 if he has it?

Yes: Technically, if he has COVID-19, you are at risk of getting it if he took off his mask but the risk is probably low if he is at least 6 feet away from you. Everyone should wear a mask when around other people, whether indoors or outdoors. That is the safest way to prevent the spread OF COVID-19.

COVID 19 concerns: Possible, but risk is lower because you were both oudoors, 2 meters apart, you wore a mask and it was very brief. Risk is low for COVID 19 transmission.
