Can lexapro increase cholesterol or triglycerides? i have isolated high triglycerides and don't want to start new med if it can make that higher.

Study (2013) showed:: Paroxetine: significant increase in weight, BMI, waist circumference, fasting glucose, cholesterol, LDL, and triglyceride after 16 wks of treatment. Citalopram and escitalopram (Lexapro): significant increases in triglyceride. Sertraline: total cholesterol increased after treatment. Fluoxetine: significant reductions in weight, total cholesterol, and triglyceride. Best regards for good health.
