Complex case: Beta blockers are known to predispose one to diabetes, which can result in elevated triglycerides. I recommend trying to change to a calcium channel blocker to control your rapid heart rate. Metformin, 500 mg 3 times daily, and Acarbose 100 mg three times daily (with meals) will lower your triglycerides. Let me know how you do.
