Infection : Your dressing should be changed on a daily basis. .You need to wash the wound with warm water. If you persist in having a yellow discharge you need to see the doctor who put in the sutures as the wound may be infected

Get checked: Drainage alone no matter the color does not necessarily mean it's infected. The drainage indicates the incision is not 100% healed. I would still have it looked at if you have excessive drainage.
