Im 4mons preg.my hsbnd & i both has nearsightness 6.00 & 5.50.all his fam has it & im only 1 in my fam. will my baby have it too?any way to avoid it?

Hard to guess: My guess is yes, the children will be nearsighted because many of the relatives are nearsighted and both parents are nearsighted. Of course, there is no way to tell for sure. We also do not know how to prevent nearsightedness. There is much research by scientists trying to discover why and to prove their theories. Until then, maybe keep books and screens at least a foot away from kids' faces.
