Ringing in ears: Depending on the caliber of weapon - you will likely have ringing for at least a week. The sound of a gunshot within a closed vehicle - causing intense pressure on your eardrum. The auditory nerves were "shocked" by the sudden noise. This should fade over the next several days although you may have some hearing loss as a result. Good luck
