Is it normal to still feel a scratchy throat and discomfort in my ear even after finishing my z-pak treatment? i am feeling much better than i did five days ago. however, there seem to be some leftover symptoms. should i give it more time?

You may need a second round of treatment, but only your Physician can make this decision for you. If there is presence of harmful bacteria additional antibiotics may be required. If symptoms cased by viral infection, antibiotics will not cure. Call your Doc.
