Should i stop taking my multivitamins when taking methotrexate?

No: There is no evidence that most multivitamins will be either helpful or harmful in combination with methotrexate. However it is very important that you take supplemental vitamin b9 (folic acid) as methotrexate can affect your dietary intake. If you are getting 400-1000 mcg daily from your multivitamin then that should be sufficient

Better to take: folic acid 2 mg / day by itself on top of a multivitamin!
