Could be Crohn's: Some of the most common side effects can be similar to symptoms of crohn's. These include mouth sores, fever, diarrhea, blood in your stools, body aches and abdominal pain. You may want to check with your doctor and make sure this is not a flare up of your disease.

See doctor: There are many medications available for treatment of crohns. If you cannot tolerate methotrexate, talk to your doctor. Another medication could be tried.

My son has Crohns since 2014. methotrexate for 3 1/2 years. His TSH at diagnosis was 3.98. today it is 5.38. T4 normal. No symptoms of thyroid issue at all. Worried it could be tumor or lymphoma. GI wasn't worried - but not sure she would know?

Have focal active colitis, acute cryptitis and acute abscess in colon & rectum. Also doc said I have IBS and high CRP. No medication/treatment plan. still in pain in lower abdomen left and right side. Doctor suspects Crohns Disease. sound accurate?
