Various Reasons : Could be a result of different things including gynecological and non- gynecological reasons. It could be a result of your ovarian cysts or other things including endometriosis. You should see your doctor.

Poorly placed IUD.: From your description the IUD is in your endocervical canal. Presence of any foreign body in this region will cause spasms of the uterine muscles. it is true that IUD may cause ovarian cyst but your IUD was just place and is unlikely the cause of the 2 cysts. I recommend you consult your gyn to evaluate you for PCOS and revise the position of the IUD (if you need it at all at this time)
