An Emergency Physician is trained to first consider the worst explanation for symptoms given limited information. From what little you have said, my immediate instinct is to encourage you to go directly to the emergency department. Don't wait for more symptoms. Could there be a simple explanation? Sure, but a 1% chance of life-threatening blood clot or ectopic pregnancy is not good odds, nor 10%.
