Numb finger: Some kind of nerve dysfunction has occurred. It could be a pinching of the nerve in the hand, nerve damage from vitamin b12 deficiency or degeneration from a disorder like multiple sclerosis, or a tiny area of brain injury or pathology. A neurologist can pinpoint the cause for you and it may involve performing an EMG procedure.
