Needs further monito: One PSA value is rarely helpful. Your friend should get recheck of his PSA on 3-4 occasions, roughly 3 months apart and see the results. If the PSA level keeps rising steadily, then a urologist needs to check him and make sure that he is not having a recurrence of his prostate cancer. right now we can not be certain...so wait and watch is advised. I hope he has his own urologist to guide him?
