You need an EKG: I would suggest that see a medical provider to determine what is causing your elevated pulse (heart rate). The sensation you are describing is "heart palpitations" which alone may not be an issue. Your elevated heart rate could be caused by anxiety/stress, excessive caffeine/supplements, an overactive thyroid, or issues with your heart or lungs. I recommend a medical evaluation including an EKG.

Sounds like: you are very ANXIOUS and BTW anxiety can increase your pulse rate!! Give it a rest.....do not measure it for a few days/nights! This is a COMMON PROBLEM seen with the newer PULSE rate measurements on WATCHES and FITNESS DEVICES..... Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
