PulsePressure & Rate: Pulse strength: a result of the pulse pressure; the difference in the systolic vs. diastolic pressure; a result of (a) cardiac stoke volume vs. (b) arterial volume & (c) elasticity (assuming no Aortic Regurg. or AV shunts). Pulse is a result of each heart beat, thus will never be faster than heart rate; but can be slower (some heart pumps not felt). If major arteries are open then pressures ~same.
