I've been taking 330 mg of ferrous fumarate for severe anemia (ferritin 4, iron 26, hemoglobin 10) i have celiac. my stools are not dark. i need to raise levels urgently, how can i know if my body is absorbing the iron?

You may check the blood tests again in a few weeks, I mean recheck the CBC and the iron indices.

My ferritin is 4.4 I had heavy period, what if Ferritin drops under zero? Is it an emergency? Also my iron is 26 and my blood in Hemolysis. Is 330 mg of Ferrous Fumarate every 12 hours enough to raise levels? I can barely function, struggle to walk?
