I'm 19 years old, female. me and my fiance have been trying to conceive for awhile now. i recently found out that i had a ruptured ovarian cyst. help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian cyst: A cyst (follicle) ruptures each month as you ovulate. Sometimes, especially when you are young or as you get older, the follicle (cyst) that contains the egg that you should ovulate grows bigger and the egg inside stops developing. The cyst ruptures and causes more fluid to release and that causes the pain you feel. There are other reasons to have cysts as well so find out if it happens again.
