Slow heart rate: Slow heart rates (HR) are not a concern unless associated with symptoms such as lightheadedness, dizziness, or coming close and/or passing out. As a person ages their average HR gets lower and beta-blockers add to this effect. A HR of approximately 60 while sleeping is not concerning. Smart watches are notorious for not being accurate especially with people who have skipped and extra beats
