A member asked:

I put neosporin on a bandaid and put it on a mole i had scratched and left it on, now the mole is coming off and looks lighter, should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get it checked: Whenever a mole changes color, bleeds, ulcerates or becomes nodular it is prudent to have your doctor look at and may be remove it and send the tissue to a pathologist for examination. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
