Sealants: Sealants fill microscopically grooves on chewing surfaces of back teeth and prevent bacterial invasion(cavities). Cannot be entirely removed as dental instruments are not microscopic in width. And besides, removing sealants invites bacterial damage. Discuss this with your child's a Dentist.
