Pit\fissure caries: Clean out the pit and fissures and depending upon the depth, your caries potential and your dentist's philosophy use dental sealants and\or fillings to fill in the carious parts of the tooth.

Fill them: If there are caries the dentist will have to drill them out and fill them with a white filling. These are very tiny cavities and most of the time they are superficial and may not require anesthesia, in these cases a sealer or flow able material can be used.
