I have pain at end range knee flexion. quick and sharp. i am unable to squat to floor or kneel on that knee. no swelling.what could be the problem?

You could have: a " loose body",a piece of cartilage, torn off and stuck between the knee joint blocking that last little bit of flexion. See Ortho. An MRI will confirm diagnosis.
