Liver problems: If your abdomen is distended u should ask your doctor, if u have ascites. This can happen in advanced cirrhosis of liver. With abdominal distension, ur abdominal muscles r strained&this can cause ur back muscles2also get strained&cause back problems. But any abdominal problems can cause back pain, including gallbaldder, liver, kidneys, peptic ulcer disease. Dont delay see ur doctor asap.
