Hello. : Hello. I don’t know what the cause of your fatty liver is. However, a major cause of fatty liver is drinking too much alcohol. Alcohol use combined with poor diet, obesity, abnormally high iron levels and hepatitis c can increase the chances of getting fatty liver. There are also people who have fatty livers who don’t have an illness and who don’t drink. Some people can develop a fatty liver off drinking really heavily for a weekend, and the fat decreases when they stop drinking. In your case, it would be best to get specific input from your doctor as s/he can put this in the context of your total health picture. Take care.
