A member asked:

There's a hole in my gums after the extraction of impacted wisdom tooth. i can see something brown inside and some small bits of food gets stuck into ?

Keep it clean.: Holes are the sockets from which teeth were removed. complete closure would take 2-3 months. It will be best to not let food get stuck in the sockets by softly rinsing your mouth with water.

Probably: food. Use an ear irrigation bulb or a syringe without a needle to gently wash the socket with lukewarm tap water. Just keep it clean and it will heal soon.
