Be seen: There are so many possibilities that it is really hard to say without more history and the benefit of an exam. An avid runner is at risk for a stress fracture. Symptomatic chondromalacia at the patellofemoral joint, a meniscal tear, an inflammatory condition of the knee like chondrocalcinosis are all considerations. Consider being seen for an accurate diagnosis.
