My doc told me i have urithrietus , i am using medicing for lst 4 days, today i again feeling a little eye burning, consistently. using cefixime 400mg?

Urethritis...: ...has 2 main causes, gonorrhea and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), often due to chlamydia. Cefixime treats only gonorrhea, not NGU. Gonorrhea and chlamydia can infect the eye. Once in a while, NGU and conjunctivitis together is adenovirus -- i.e. a cold virus that involves the urethra. Speak w/ doctor or clinic about Rx for NGU and chlamydia (usually doxycycline or azithromycin). Good luck!
