Maybe;sono is better: Levels of blood betaHCG obtained after 4 to 6 weeks of pregnancy can vary very widely and usually reflect trophoblastic activity or placental development but do not necessarily the status of the embryo. A transvaginal sonogram performed by a skilled certified sonographer will provide you better information and answer your question.
