May need EGD: It is generally recommended that someone over 50 years old presenting with dyspepsia symptoms be considered for an endoscopy. I think that if your symptoms are clear-cut and represent gastro-esophageal reflux manifest by heartburn, a trial of omeprazole could be consider and should have a rapid benefit. With bloating and belching after foods, it could be a number of other things. Discuss option
