Low B12: Low B12/folic acid levels can definitely be a cause of GI bleeding. See your doc ASAP.

Perhaps.: You should always follow up on discolored stools. Chances are that with a normal scope 1 yr ago you are fine ,however changes in stool caliber,consistency,color espeacilly if these are related to losss of appetite a weight can be serious signs.Stop the supplement ,see if your stools return to normal. Have your doctor F/U with a blood count and hemoocult in the near future.
