Can omeprazole cause long term problems. if so what can i do to help eg b12 or magnesium supplement?

PPI's: Omeprazole type medications are considered risky for long-term use in recent years. Double the risk of stomach cancer, vitamin B12 deficiency, susceptibility to c diff infections, fractures, pneumonia, low calcium,low phosphate are some concerns. Even long-term use of famotidine is not without risk of stomach cancer,etc. Try to limit these meds to a couple of weeks.
