Possibly: Augmentin 500 mg 3 times a day for 10 days usually takes care of sinus infections as well as tooth infections. In some cases the only option is to take a 3D image and if nothing is diagnostic enough we wait until it localizes to a certain tooth. Unfortunately antibiotics can mask the infection from being seen. Seek a dentist with 3D imaging and have them take an image. Hope this helps :)

Pain & Infection: Sinus infections can often result in maxillary posterior tooth pain. It is possible that you have a tooth abscess that has not responded to the antibiotics. Either way, you should see your dentist to rule out any dental issues... antibiotics alone will not solve any dental problems.
