Most likely not: Theoretically, it is possible to cause damage to the floor of the maxillary sinus (which in turn could cause sinus infections and headaches) during removal of wisdom teeth in the upper jaw. Get a second opinion (ent or oral surgeon).

Probably not: The sinus issues and headaches are probably separate issues. See your doctor and have your sinuses evaluated.

Check with the Dr.: Some wisdom teeth extractions involve the sinuses so there could be some connection. Depending on how hard the teeth were to remove, you might be having some TMJ soreness from the pulling and pressure on the joint between the lower jaw and upper jaw. I would talk to whoever took out the tooth. Nsaids like Aleve (naproxen) or Ibuprofen may relieve most of the pain and headaches.
