Vessel constriction: Blood vessel constriction causes less blood flow to distal areas. In normal physiology, our body uses this mechanism to help keep vital organs (brain, heart) at an optimum temperature. CT angiography can determine if there is a blood vessel abnormality that supply blood to the nose. If no blood vessel pathology is found, you may consider discussing with your doctor treatment similar to Raynaud's.
