Swelling down the right side of my body. pain in right shoulder.hard to breathe when i raise it. no tingling or pain anywhere else. what could this be?

Ultrasound scan: It is difficult to comment without a thorough examination. The symptoms may be caused by inflammation in the muscle and cartilage or it could be something more obscure such as a clot in your axillary or subclavian vein. Please see your doctor so you can get further investigations such as blood tests or Ultrasound scan done to determine the cause

Urgent assessment : A variety of possibilities, serious includes a blood clot in the vein of the arm or an upper lung issue giving you shoulder pain. Variety of other possibilities. Recommend urgent doctor assessment as you may need tests to sort it out

Lesser thoracic duct: Swelling on right side of the body, pain in right shoulder and difficulties breathing when elevating the arm should have a good physical exam and imaging studies. Compression of the lesser thoracic duct could explain right sided swelling. Difficulties breathing due to positional changes may be caused by an enlarged thyroid inside the chest, anatomic anomalies, a mass, etc.
