See a live physician: Try some topical capsaicin cream to rub into the shoulder or ICYHot. Check your range of motion of the arm, if it compromised then you may need to see an orthopedic surgeon. It may be a bursitis where the a fluid filled sac lining the joint is inflamed. There could also be a tear of your rotator cuff muscle depending on any recent physical activity or trauma. A nerve impingement is also possible.
