Vasospasm: This may have been a transient spasm of an artery probably in the retina if one eye was involved which can occur prior to a migraine headache but can also occur without headache. Since you have had no other symptoms with that episode, you can sit tight at this time, or you could consult an ophthalmologist for advice.
